I was diagnosed with a Brain Stem Glioma, an inoperable brain tumor, back in June of 1992. I was living in Phoenix, AZ at the time and had been experiencing some odd things for several months. It all began with a DWI/DUI incident on the side of the highway back in December of 1991. I could not do any of the roadside tests but I blew a 0.01 on the breath meter. It was a long night but the police eventually let me go. Six months later I finally went to the doctor and told him something was wrong, I just didn’t know what it was. After a week or two of testing I found out that I had a brain tumor. That’s when I came back home to Houston and heard about MD Anderson Cancer Center. Thanks to the wonderful people there I am still alive and kicking.
